Click on the Book Covers to Read T-REX is a children's novel written for ages 9 to 14 and developed by author W. Howard Stuart. Howard started this series back in 1991. His inspiration came from his nephew, a reluctant reader. How could he inspire him not only to read, but also enjoy it! Howard decided to write a book that was exciting and stimulating for the young mind. Thus the development of T-REX began. A modern day saga with an ancient past opened the door for T-REX with action, adventure and suspense. Starting with just one novel, T-REX has now become a sequentially read series of six novels with the introduction of the seventh next year. These fast paced carefully researched stories have captivated and intrigued thousands and thousands of children across the United States. Even the most reluctant reader is intrigued with their T-REX book. Howard's degree in science came in very handy while writing the T-REX series: "I can't imagine writing a series like T-Rex without a strong foundation in science. I'm not sure it would be possible, "he says. In addition to writing his fantasy - adventure novels, he has also written other works such as 'The Magdelene Chronicles'- a story of Jesus at twenty-one, and 'Children of the Wind'- a story of kidnapped children and how they are resuced, and 'The Astonishing Adventures of Miss Courtney and Little Clound' for young children. Howard is also the Chairman of Stuart Financial Services in Atlanta, GA. In his spare time, Howard enjoys visiting schools throughout the U.S. and Canada and sharing his passion for reading and writing with students and interested adults.
